Megan Lee Carney is a bubbly, energetic and fun-loving musical theatre performer set to graduate from Point Park University in May of 2027 with a BFA in Musical Theatre. Megan is originally from just outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and has loved spending her college days in Pittsburgh.

From a young age, Megan has loved all things involving the theater. An outgoing and energetic little kid, Megan spent much of her childhood putting on shows and elaborate performances with neighbors, cousins and her twin brother, Jacob. She performed in her first musical at 5 years old, in a Christmas show at her church, and has never looked back. Since then, she has performed in several shows and roles, as well as won awards for vocal performance in both Musical Theatre and Classical voice categories. When not onstage, you can find Megan listening to Olivia Rodrigo, making or drinking coffee and rewatching the Scream movie franchise.

This holiday season, Megan will be performing in Yuletide! A Holiday Spectacular at the Pittsburgh Playhouse, an original work, as Bard 1. She played Mother Superior in last year’s workshop production of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun at Point Park University, and was also in the dance ensemble of Love Is Afoot! a new musical workshop at Miller Center for the Arts, produced by Laura Bell Bundy.
